The Wisdom of Grief: A weekend of compassionate exploration
"Grief does not offer a meaningless life. Rather, it is the way in which a meaningful life is revealed. "
Join Pamela Wilson, Integrated Somatic Trauma Practioneers and Grief Coach, E-RYT 500, for a 3-night immersion as we work with The Wisdom of Grief.
Grief is not something to fix. Grief is one of the deepest expressions of what it means to be human. It is an echo of love, the cost of caring, and an invitation to live life with greater tenderness.
Nestled within the quiet beauty of Arivaipa Canyon, this intimate retreat offers a different way of being with grief. Together, we will slow down enough to listen Through community ceremonies, contemplative walks, somatic practices, gentle yoga practices, meditation, and creative pursuits, we will gently explore grief as a relationship to tend rather than a problem to solve.
This retreat welcomes all forms of grief: the loss of a loved one, changes in health, the end of relationships, dreams that never came to be, collective grief for our communities and our world, and the quiet griefs we carry that often go unnamed.
Over our days together, we will practice listening to the wisdom of the body, honoring the rhythms of sorrow, and discovering that grief and joy are not opposites but companions, As we create space for what is held inside, we will also create space for awe, connection, and renewed presence.
You are invited into a circle of gentle witnessing-where nothing needs to be earned, explained or overcome. This will be a space where grief is welcomed, love is honored, and the heart remembers that is does not have to carry it's burdens alone.
