Connecting you to the roots of Yoga
Meet Pamela Wilson, E-RYT 500, TIYT, YACEP
Hello and welcome to Radiant Spirit Yoga.
Pamela Wilson is an E-RYT 500-hour and TIY yoga teacher as well as a certified Thai Massage and reflexology therapist. She is the owner of the Radiant Spirit School of Yoga.
Pam began her yoga journey over 15 years ago, when her neurologist recommended yoga as a means of therapy. Within a few months of asana practice, she noticed a dramatic difference in her body and mind and dedicated herself to bring the healing practice of yoga to others. In 2010, she undertook her first teacher training and began teaching that same year. After some specialty trainings and studies in various modalities, including trauma informed yoga and yin yoga, she acquired her 300-hour teaching certificate and quickly became an E-RYT 500 (E stands for earned, meaning a certain number of hours must be taught. RYT is for registered yoga teacher).
As her experience in teaching grew and her studies deepened, Pam was called to open the Radiant Spirit School of Yoga. For the past few years, she has offered both 200-hour and 300-hour trainings around the world as well as at home. She is often off to a new destination, with requests for various trainings and lectures coming from around the world.
Along the way, Pam received certification in reflexology and Thai massage in order to better serve her students and clients.
Pam is currently working on her 1000-hour certification, with an emphasis on Philosophy and History and a minor in Sanskrit. She brings to her training programs as well as all of her endeavors a deep respect for the practice, a love of the history, mythology and philosophy associated with yoga and a gentle, compassionate heart. She aims to honor the traditions of the practice while acknowledging its constant changing dynamics.
