About Beth O'Hara

Beth O'Hara is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor. She has studied yoga for 11 years with some of the country's most advanced Iyengar yoga teachers. She is a competent and knowledgeable instructor who continues to deepen her understanding of yoga through regular study with her teachers and through her practice.

Beth has been teaching yoga for over 7 years. She studied for 4 weeks at the Iyengar Institute in Pune, India in June of 2007. In addition to her daily yoga and meditation practice, she is continally studying yoga philosophy, anatomy and the art of teaching to bring new understanding into her classes.

Beth is experienced at adapting poses for all levels of students and is adept at providing individual guidance during classes.

Yoga has brought joy, peace, focus, and spiritual meaning into her life. Her enthusiasm for the practice of yoga shines through in her teaching and she is dedicated to helping her students discover the benefits of yoga.

She is grateful to her teachers Judi Rice, Dean Lerner, Jan Campbell, Geeta Iyengar and Prashant Iyengar.

In addition to her in-depth study of yoga, Beth is dedicated to meditation and consciousness studies. She is a certified Enneagram teacher and trainer and a student at the School of Conscious Living, a 2 year program utilizing the Enneagram and Spiral Dynamics for raising awareness and deepening consciousness. Beth studies directly under Dr. Deborah Ooten.

She holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Louisville in Psychology with a concentration in Physiological Psychology and is certified in Anatomy and Physiology through Brainbench.com.
